Thank you for meeting me here. I’m excited to share the recording of day 4 of the Heart of Spring 7-day Meditation Journey.
Today is a practice of mindful awareness divided into multiple parts. Firstly, it helps to diffuse negative states of mind before they gain unstoppable momentum. Secondly, it is an emergency meditation that you can perform during times of acute crisis or pain to soothe your suffering. The meditation consists of four stages. It condenses the essential elements of the entire mindfulness program into a few minutes. The practice is concluded with a gratitude offering, a poem titled The Overgrown Cul-de-sac by Jacqueline Suskin, and a few questions to consider throughout your day.
